I always choose this place for my stay. The staff helped me find my lost ring on my first stay, so I remember it fondly. It has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, off-site car park, electric kettle, shared kitchen, laundry. Coming back for Christmas!

Amazing location, just a 2-minute walk from the beach! The receptionist, Mr. Michael, is incredibly kind and helpful. We received a great discount when we came back for a second time. The nearby "restaurant" run by an elderly man serves delicious breakfast with a warm smile. The owner takes guest reviews seriously and provided A/C in the room. The rooftop is perfect for relaxation. Convenient access to the train station for further exploration. Free water, tea, coffee, and sugar. Lovely and peaceful female dormitory with helpful volunteers. Ideal for a first stop in Sri Lanka. Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, laundry service, restaurant, coffee shop, beach access.

The owner and Stefanie were so helpful, made us feel at home, planned our trip together, nice rooftop, near bus stop and supermarket, next to the beach.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel! The owner was helpful and allowed us to check in early after a long flight. He also provided us with extra sheets and answered all of our questions. The hostel had a great area for preparing food and complimentary tea and coffee. The staff, including Stefanie, were so friendly and made us feel at home. They helped us plan our trip and made our first day in this city one of the best. The hostel's rooftop was perfect for chilling out, meeting other travelers, and enjoying the view. The location was also ideal, as it was close to the beach, buses, and a supermarket. We highly recommend this hostel!

I recently stayed at a hostel in Sri Lanka for my first stop in the country. Colombo Beach Hostel had a great atmosphere and the staff were really helpful. I loved the rooftop area where I could relax and enjoy the view. Plus, they offered free tea and coffee, which was a nice touch. The location was perfect, close to the beach and with easy access to buses. The breakfast was delicious and the receptionist even made me a coffee. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely go back or volunteer there again.

Friendly and helpful staff, especially Dinesh, who offered a bus shuttle and provided valuable information. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a nice rooftop area to relax. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach and plenty of nearby restaurants. Despite a minor issue with the AC, my overall stay at Colombo Beach was enjoyable. I highly recommend this budget hotel for a pleasant stay in the area.
